Adult Education Events

St. Mary's Adult Education is held on Sundays from 10:30 - 11:20 am, in between the 9 am and 11:30 am services. Periodically, there are special events, such as lectures and workshops, that are held on different dates and times. 

If you are interested in making a donation towards Adult Education events that provide lunches, click here or access our Giving widget at the top of and select "Adult Education" in the drop down list. If you would to like make a comment in regards to your donation, you can also select "Other" and notate "Lunches for Adult Education" in the Other Comments box.

Upcoming Event

The Caroline Penniman Wohlforth Lecture Series* will be hosted at St. Mary's on Friday - Sunday, November 4 - 6, 2016. The Rev. Hugh Grant will be speaking on contemplation and action. Additionally, the workshop on Saturday, November 5, will have an optional lunch at Noon for $10.

  The Spiritual Path of Contemplation and Action: Insights from the life of Thomas Merton.

  • Saturday, November 5, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in Waldron Hall.

  Practicing Contemplation and Action: A Quiet Day for Self-Inquiry and Devotion.

  (Lunch at Noon: A sandwich lunch will be available for $10) 

  • Sunday, November 6, 10:30 - 11:20 am in Waldron Hall.

The programs are free and open to the public. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the church.

* The series of lectures honors the educational ministry of the late Caroline P. Wohlforth. She was a keen member and leader of the Bible Workbench process at St. Mary's and a skilled editor-contributor to its publication for many years.
