Work Groups Group Leader Area Responsibilities A Vacant Position Building Cleaning and Care Oversight Oversees Janitorial Contract(s), makes sure we are receiving quality service for a good price and sees that nothing is being neglected or overlooked. Oversees exterior and interior window cleaning as needed. Checks in regularly with the staff of St. Mary's, St. Mary's Creative Playschool and Eaglecrest to make sure all is well in their areas. B Carl Lautenberger Fire Safety and Equipment Oversees all fire safety equipment and arranges for servicing as needed. Makes sure exterior emergency exit doors are free from ice or snow blockage in winter, safety evacuation signs are posted, exit lights work, and no fire safety hazards exist in the buildings. C Greg Wilkinson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Oversees heating and cooling preventive maintenance contract, oversees all plumbing matters including leaks, stopped up drains and related issues as needed. D Greg Wilkinson Lawn, Landscape and Gardening Oversees and coordinates all landscaping, lawn care, and gardening concerns. Recruits and schedules people to help with needed care or cleanup tasks. Oversees lawn care contracts as needed, makes sure the exterior grounds are in tip-top shape, identifies needed repairs or improvements and oversees to completion. E Chuck Fuller Lawn and Snow Equipment Maintenance Oversees and coordinates all preventive maintenance and repair needs for equipment. Schedules and recruits repair help as needed. Recommends and coordinates any needed equipment purchases. F Bob Bradley Snow Removal and Lot Care Oversees ice and snow removal needs on the property Oversees any contracts or other snow removal arrangements, arranging for upkeep, repair and cleaning of drives, walkways, and parking lots as needed. Recruits and schedules helpers as needed. Keeps us stocked in Ice-melt, push brooms, and shovels as needed. G Greg Wilkinson Building Repair Makes sure our building is being well cared for and kept in good repair. Coordinates and oversees repairs, ensuring they are done well and in a timely manner. Recommends needed remodeling and improvements. Recruits, schedules and thanksothers who have gifts to share in this area of ministry. Checks in regularly with the staff of St. Mary's, the St. Mary's Creative Playschool, and Eaglecrest to make sure all is in good repair in their area. H Vacant Position Painting and Signage Works closely with the Building Repair person to make sure our building's walls and painted sufaces are being well cared for and are in good repair. Coordinatesand oversees necessary patchwork and repainting as needed. Recruits, schedules and thanks others who have gifts to share in this area of ministry. Oversees our signage needs and replaces or adds signs as needed. I David Springer Trash Pickup, Recycling and Uncluttering Oversees our trash pickup and recycling efforts, making sure junk, trash, old equipment, or garbage does not accumulate where it should not. Heads up the Pack-Rat Control Squad as needed by overseeing the cleaning out of areas that fill up with unnecessary items. J Greg Wilkinson Sound System Care and Upkeep Oversees all issues relating to the care, repair, and improvement of our sound systems. Makes sure we don't run out of blank tapes or batteries to run the remote and clip on microphones. K Jim Cowan Kitchen Care and Equipment Works closely with the chair of the Fellowship Committee to make sure our kitchen is consistently clean, restocked and well cared for. Checks amounts of dish soap, sanitizer and other supplies and reorders and replaces as needed. Oversees regular maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of oven hoods, grills and other equipment. Schedules and recruits help as needed to carry out these tasks. Helps teach various kitchen user groups to "play well with others" and share space with one another graciously. L William Theuer Technology Care and Equipment Works closely with the Rector and St. Mary's staff to make sure our phone system, copier, computer network and other gee-whiz equipment is working well and is well cared for. Oversees any equipment or preventive maintanance contracts as needed. M Joe Baldwin Light Bulb Care and Maintenance Oversees the lights within the buildings. Does regular walk-throughs to check for burned out lights and replaces as needed. Reorders more bulbs as needed. Recruits and schedules helpers to assist as needed.
