Junior Warden Committee

The Junior Warden's Committee members advise the Junior Warden on matters of maintenance and repair of the church buildings. The members take charge of areas of the building such as the alarm system, lighting, snow removal or lawn care, and they may also volunteer to make a repair to a specific broken item such as a leaky faucet. In keeping the buildings and grounds maintained, the Junior Warden's Committee helps keep St. Mary's a presentable and comfortable place to worship.

The Junior Warden's Committee meets on the second Monday of the month in classroom 7 downstairs. The meetings start at 6:00 PM and everyone is welcome to attend.

Garden Committee

A total of 18 women and men volunteers work on the Church's ten flower beds and numerous shrubs during the summer, preparing, planting and caring for them. An Executive Committee of three overseers, working closely with the Junior Warden and a Master Gardener from the Anchorage Extension Service recently developed new regulations, future goals and also drew up a long range landscape plan, including a proposed Memorial garden.
