Worship
"To Know Christ and to Make Christ Known"
Worship at St. Mary's is Gospel based and Christ centered. We use a variety of sources for our liturgy including The Book of Common Prayer and several different booklets which incorporate the New Zealand Prayer Book, Enriching Our Worship, and The Book of Occasional Services among others.
At 8:00 a.m. we have a traditional Rite I (beautiful Elizabethan English of thees and thous) service in the chapel.
The 9:00 a.m. service is Rite II (contemporary language) with hymns, organ, and choir in the sanctuary.
At 11:30 a.m., our service is Rite II (contemporary language again) with Praise Singing in the Brush Arbor style (jangly guitars, banjos and tambourines!) in the sanctuary.
