Loving our Neighbors
No More Deaths:
A Memorial Vigil for Unhoused Neighbors Who Died on the Streets
Saturday, March 30
1 pm
First United Methodist Church
725 West 9th Avenue
This winter, over fifty people have died, unhoused, in Anchorage. You are invited to join us on Holy Saturday, March 30, at a vigil in memory of those we have lost and in support of those still living rough in our city.
We will be distributing almost 150 Helping Hand Bags of toiletries and other supplies, assembled by the faithful Outreach team, at this event. Come, extend a hand of love in memory of those we have lost as we hallow their memories and redicate ourselves to the charge Jesus gave us: that whatever we do for the least and the last, we do unto Him.
